So It Goes in Cuba with Manana Festival

May 4th to 6th this year will mark the first international music festival in Cuba: MANANA Cuba. So It Goes is delighted to announce its partnership with this amazing and historic event. Setup by two Englishmen and a Cuban, MANANA will bring top international names in electronic music (Nicolas Jaar, Quantic, A Guy Called Gerald) out to collaborate with local artists and their folkloric traditions like rumba, son and salsa.

This project aims to leave a lasting legacy for Cuban musicians and cultural institutions as the island slowly opens up to the world. Expect drumming and dancing in the streets, squares and venues of Santiago de Cuba, but most importantly expect a glorious meeting of cultures with much to teach each other.

What are you doing holiday-wise that is better than witnessing history and great music in the making? Travel partners Caledonia Worldwide can cover all logistics getting international visitors to the festival. So It Goes will be documenting the festival and Cuban life in general in May.

Take a listen to the amazing Boiler Room x MANANA set by Cuban band Ariwo which had 100,000 plays in 72 hours.
